Oil rig chain, also known as petroleum chain (oilfield chain, oil rig roller chain), is specially designed and produced for mud pump drive, engine unit, power drive, etc. for oil drilling and oil production. Oil chain can be used for oil, natural gas, coal mining, mining equipment, logging machinery and ball mill. Safety and reliability are crucial to oil chain. The material of oil chain is special alloy steel, and it is treated with advanced heat treatment technology. The surface of the pin is carburized and hardened to obtain excellent impact resistance and higher breaking load, and extend the service life of the chain. The chain plate is squeezed after heat treatment to obtain higher fatigue strength. Compared with the American standard short pitch roller chain, the service life of the chain is extended by 30%. The roller is heat treated after finishing, and then shot peened to improve its fatigue strength and reliability under high-speed operation. The heavy series oil chain (thickened chain plate) is used to effectively absorb impact loads under greater loads, but the working space is limited and large-sized oil field roller chains cannot be used. If the customer does not specify separately when placing an order, all oilfield chains are connected using cotter pins (shepherd's hook cotter pins, not ordinary S-shaped cotter pins).
